Could observe the balloon in the clear sky as a -7mag starlike object both naked eye and with 20x60 binoculars. Could track telemetry down to 190m and computed a prediction. There was no transmission after landing, not because of killtimer but because of impact shock. Met sonde hunter Jürgen at the landing site. The sonde was on a apple and pear plantation and must have passed a group of harvest workers from poland a few meters overhead before impacting some 20 meters away. They were completely unaware of the situation. Jürgen spotted the cord with binoculars. We gained permission from the land owner and recovered the sonde.
